Rohit
Wariyar
International Business Development,
SkyDrive
Rohit Wariyar leads international business development activities at SkyDrive, one of the world's most advanced Urban Air Mobility companies and a leading force in Japan's transition from eVTOL demonstration programmes to commercial operations.

At SkyDrive, Rohit works at the forefront of global Advanced Air Mobility deployment, helping to build the partnerships, infrastructure ecosystems, regulatory relationships, and operational frameworks required to introduce eVTOL services into real-world transportation networks. His responsibilities span engagement with governments, regulators, airports, operators, infrastructure developers, investors, and mobility stakeholders across international markets.

SkyDrive occupies a unique position within the global eVTOL sector. Beyond aircraft development, the company is actively involved in some of the industry's most important deployment initiatives, including demonstration programmes in Tokyo, preparations for commercial operations in Japan, integration with existing transportation networks, and the development of partnerships designed to connect eVTOL services with broader urban mobility systems. The company's work with rail operators, municipalities, airports, and public authorities provides valuable insight into how Advanced Air Mobility can be integrated into existing transport ecosystems rather than operating independently from them.

Rohit's experience is particularly relevant as the industry shifts its focus from aircraft development toward infrastructure deployment, operational readiness, public acceptance, multimodal integration, and commercial service entry, he brings first-hand experience of the challenges and opportunities associated with introducing Urban Air Mobility into densely populated metropolitan environments.

Prior to joining SkyDrive, Rohit held senior business development and public affairs positions across the aviation and aerospace sectors, including leadership roles with Volocopter, Becker Avionics, and Honeywell. Having worked across Europe, Asia, and North America, he offers a truly global perspective on how cities, operators, regulators, infrastructure providers, and OEMs must collaborate to transform Advanced Air Mobility from isolated demonstration projects into scalable transportation networks.

Rohit will share valuable lessons from one of the industry's most active deployment environments, providing practical insight into the infrastructure, stakeholder alignment, operational planning, and ecosystem development required to make Urban Air Mobility a commercial reality.
